We Love our Members!
Do you like to direct, act, sing, dance, play a musical instrument? Or maybe you prefer working behind the scenes–building sets, creating costumes, scrounging around for props, designing or running lights or sound effects.
Perhaps your talents are more administrative and you’d enjoy assisting with the myriad details involved in keeping a vibrant community theater group going, including building and grounds maintenance and remodeling, bookkeeping, marketing and publicity, or working to increase membership.
Or maybe your greatest pleasure is in being a member of the audience and you’d like to lend your support to the longest continuously operating community theater group in the state of Vermont.
Whatever your interests, we welcome you to join the Springfield Community Players!
Membership in the Springfield Community Players gives you the opportunity to be a part of great group of people who love community theater! It also entitles you to attend and vote at monthly meetings and to be kept up-to-date, through our regular blasts with current events, auditions, upcoming shows and about the progress of ongoing projects.
Our business meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. From April to November we hold meetings at the Players’ Studio, 165 South Street, Springfield, Vermont. We find an alternate location for meetings every Winter. Check our Events calendar to see when our next meeting is.
Members who are not involved in a particular production are invited to assist by selling tickets at the door, contributing refreshments and serving refreshments to our audiences during intermission.
Annual Dues range from $15 for Member Level, to $35 for Patron Level and $65 or more for Angel Level. With an Angel level sponsorship you also receive an Admit One Ticket good to be used at one of our performances for the 2018 season.
So give us a call at 802-885-4098 and leave a message. Or send an e-mail to springfieldcommunit[email protected]. Someone will get back to you.
We hope to see you in the Green Room!
